New “Zooi” colour

“What do you think of this colour?” Lars and Erik ask me with a secretive smile on their faces as they shove a coat rack Frits and shelf Guus in my face. All I see is a very cool colour grey, one that I haven’t seen before. And seeing their secretive smiles, I’m also very curious about their story! Guess what? This colour was made from waste powder, left behind in the spray cabin after a colour change. Before, this powder was hardened so it could be removed with all the residual waste.

The waste powder is now collected and used as a colour  for Zooi. Obviously, this powder is unique and it can have a different look from time to time, depending on the colours that have been used for powder coating. This background story makes this powder even more beautiful and fits perfect with Zooi; beauty with a story! For me, it is also extra special that we are going to use this, since it’s an idea from the people who powder coat every day.

We have named this unique powder very appropriately “waste grey”. All products below are now available in this colour in our webshop.
